Greg Starts all of bowls using a chainsaw first, thus allowing him to be very creative with the shape and size of every individual bowl. He then proceeds to use his grinder, this is where the magic happens. The grinder allows him to get the undulating, wavelike patterning, making every piece one of a kind. Sanding is a long, tedious process, but so satisfying at the same time. It brings the bowl more into focus getting rid of the grinder marks and showing the true grain patterning. He finishes all of his bowls with a butcher block and salad bowl finishes, making it functional. as well as a piece of art.
