This bowl was carved by using a chainsaw first. This helps Greg in finding the right depth and shape that he wants and he can be very creative with the chainsaw. He then proceeds to his grinder, this allowing him to make the wavelike patterning and smooth out any chainsaw marks. He then to bring the bowl more into focus, he starts the long sanding process. He finishes all of his bowls using a butcher block and salad bowl finish by watco, making them functional as well as a piece of art.
