This stunning, one of a kind bowl was made by Greg Trumbley. He first carved the london plane bowl, but in the drying process, the bowl unfortunately cracked and was not functional anymore, so he decided to cut away the cracks and add a beautiful, flamed box elder to give it a funky appeal. The red in the grain is natural color of the box elder tree, so it’s very unique and rare. The brightness of the flame differs from tree to tree, we’ve never seen one so bright before.
